Why do my views come from a red chair? My husband and I treasure our time we share in our yard from our simple, beloved red Adirondack chairs. I also enjoy solitude from my chair. In my blog, I humbly share my views from my red chair. Having struggled with self-worth as a Christian, I've often failed at listening to God's truth about who I am in Him. Before I was a Christian, I didn't think I was ever good enough. As a believer, new wife, and mom, I, mostly subconsciously, often allowed the judgment of others to affect me. I placed more value on negative comments than positive. As a mature adult, I know I'm enough through Christ's ultimate sacrifice. Do I not ever struggle with self worth? Yes, I need God's word to remind me. One of my favorite reminders is Jeremiah 1:5 NLT. "I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations."
